A senseless effort at ‘camp’ sensemaking, Look Over Here presents an inspection at camp as an aesthetic and an ideology. Through a seriously unserious manifesto, it aims at displaying what camp is and is not. It is a piece that is highly ironic and self aware, using an editorial and graphic design language to transmit a sense of the camp aesthetic, building upon the work of queer scholars and expression, as well theoretical frameworks such as Susan Sontag’s “Notes on ‘Camp’”.
